Nesbeth booked to perform at German reggae festival

After a virtuoso performance at this year's Rebel Salute, reggae singer Nesbeth has been booked to perform at Reggae Jam festival in Germany from July 24 to July 26 later this year.

"I was confirmed for Reggae Jam in Germany, based on my strong showing at Rebel Salute, so I am feeling great joy right now.I delivered my set from a spiritual point of view and I could feel the natural vibration connecting to the souls of the Rebel Salute patrons," he said.

He is also booked to perform at a show in Switzerland this summer. "This is my first time for a huge festival in Europe. I have been to the UK, but this is my first trip to Europe during the summer, and I am excited at the possibilities," he said.

Last weekend, Nesbeth delivered a brilliant set beforethousands of music lovers flooding Plantation Cover in St Ann.

He started his set off with his megabits Board House and the recent chart-rider Ole Ganga Lee. The massive crowd of fans never stopped dancing and singing along, as Nesbeth hit stride with an acoustic rendition of Hundu Lay Lay delivered by kette drummers, and accompanied by a soulful spiritual performance with Dance Xpression.

The reggae star continued on with Guns Out and Marijuana. To finish the set, Nesbeth performed the title track of his recently released EP Taste Victory. As he left the stage, the crowd continued to cheer for minutes upon end.

Executives at the UK-based Entertainment Soul Records label, which signed Nesbeth to a booking and recording deal recently, said that the artiste did well.
