A bigger, better deal from Digicel

Digicel will be giving customers the chance to win a year's worth of free electricity, courtesy of its diaspora arm, when they receive top-ups from family and friends abroad.

The promotion, which runs from January 2 to February 5, will see more than 30 people winning J$120,000 worth of JPS vouchers daily.

"This came just in time for the new year!" said Humesha Powell, a student nurse from Allman Town, was one of the first winners in the promotion. "My father usually tops up mine, and my mother's phone, every month so that we can stay in touch, but I never expected that I would win something so big from Digicel."

Another winner, Cameisha Armstrong, a chef from St Catherine, said, "In times like these, nobody is just going to take up $120,000 and give to somebody. So I'm really grateful that Digicel did this. It will really be a big relief, and I look forward to being able to save some extra money this year."

"At Digicel, we know the kinds of challenges that our customers are facing, and we want to do something to help alleviate some of that stress," said Neil Lawrence, diaspora manager at Digicel.

"Giving our customers a helping hand with the bills is just one of the ways that we're giving more value back to our customers, this year."

The competition is open to all prepaid customers in Jamaica who receive international top-ups of J$800 or more, online, via Digicel's Top Up app or from retail stores overseas, during the promotional period.
