![]() ![]() Diandra Grandison Staff Reporter The results are in for the story 'Higgler Needs Back His Sanity' which was selected as December's Paternity Puzzle winner. Late last year, 37-year-old higgler Jonathan Burketold THE STAR that he doubted the paternity of 27-year-old Angela Haynes'then one-month-old son, because "she lived with someone else at the time of her pregnancy" and stated that the doubts were driving him mad. The two, who met over 10 years ago in Linstead, were in an on-and-off-again relationship during that time, despite the fact that Haynes is still living with another man. THE STAR contacted them and asked what they thought the results would state. Haynes: "I am not sure, but the baby has a look of him, even if the results say it is negative, that's what I see every time I look at the baby, he looks like Jonathan." Burke: "I think he's mine, some feeling deep inside me is telling me, it's mine." some resemblance Last year, the pair told THE STAR that the child beared some resemblance to Burke. Haynes: "He looks like Jonathan, he has the same face as him. every time I look in the baby's face I see Jonathan." Burke: "A part of the child resembles me, I am a tall person, the child is tall and she says the other guy is short. Some features on the child resembles me, like the mouth and the fingers, but I'm still not sure if is mine, and it a mad me!" Unfortunately, the results have revealed, that Burke is not the father of Haynes' now two-month-old son. The pair shared their reaction to the results with THE STAR. Haynes: "I feel bad because I don't have any help with the child, and Jonathan would be a good father. when he hears that result, he's not gonna want anything to do with me because he said that if the results say is not his, it would hurt him." Burke: "Me feel like me ago cry when me come offa di phone, I'm honestly disappointed because I always wanted a son." When asked if he would assist with the maintenance of the child, he responded. Burke: "I will help her out same way if she's wanting help, but as far as our relationship, honestly, I don't know, because me and her thing on and off."
