Bright future for Raydaar |

![]() Raydaar Up-and-coming recording artiste Raydaar is looking forward to a bright future in music. The talented reggae singer, who hails from Montego Bay, recently released a new single called 'Bad Mind'. The song, produced and released by the Sound Extractor label in Canada, is currently enjoying strong rotation on a number of local radio stations. Its accompanying video was directed by popular music video director Wayne Benjamin. "I'm very happy about the response my single is getting. I'm not surprised that people are reacting to it positively. It has a very good message. It's a song of upliftment. I recorded this song to tell people that they should not let anyone stop them from pursuing their dreams and achieving their goals," said the artiste. Radaar was born Rennoy Bean in Lucea, Hanover. He grew up in Montego Bay where he attended the Farm All-Age School and studied drama at the Western Society for the Upliftment of Children. He made his recording debut in 2013 with the single Dimples, which was produced by Sound Extractor. Following the release of Dimples, Raydaar recorded and released a number of other songs such as Innocent, Feelings and Sweet So. The humble Rastafarian says he draws inspiration from the works of several great reggae singers, including Bob Marley, Beres Hammond and Luciano. Prior to launching his music career, Raydaar worked as entertainment coordinator at the Riu Hotel in Montego Bay and the Grand Lido Hotel in Negril.
