The murder toll in Clarendon has now risen to six since the start of the year following the killing of two young men in Effortville on Saturday. They are 18-year-old Romario Whyte, otherwise called Marco, and 18-year-old D'andre Bromfield. They were killed in separate incidents by the same man, according investigators. Reports are that Bromfield was walking from Bucks Common to Long Gully when he was pounced upon by a gunman who was dressed in army fatigues. The man shot Bromfield several times at the border of the two communities. It is alleged that the same man then entered Long Gully where he shot White. The gunman then left the community on foot. |
