![]() Jetsetters 'B' goal attack Abbi-Gail Larmond shoots over the Portmore-based Unity Strikers goalkeeper, during a 2013 JN Netball League match at the National Arena. - Anthony Minott The Opening Ceremony and uniform parade of the Netball Jamaica /JN Sunshine Open League netball competition, will take place today at the Leila Robinson Courts beginning at 1:00 p.m. Seventy-two teams will participate in the open league this year, including newcomers - Waterhouse Eagles, Harbour View Police Netball Club, Tryall Heights Sports Club and Wolmers Netball Club. Defeated The defending champions of this league are the UWI PELICANS, who defeated MICO B. This occasion marks the beginning of Netball Jamaica's 2014/2015 season and is again sponsored by the Jamaica National Building Society for the twenty- third year. The ceremony will be followed by
scheduled games.
