Curtis Campbell, STAR Writer

Former dancehall queen Latesha hosts her annual birthday party tonight. She wants fans and supporters to come out and celebrate her big

In an interview with The WEEKEND STAR, Queen Latesha said this year's celebrations will be held at Famous Nightclub, Portmore, and should not be missed.

Dubbed 'Picstitch', Latesha said women will be admitted free before 1 a.m. Men will be charged $1,000.

"We have live performances, fashion shows, sexy women, celebrities and table-top dancers. People have been flying in for this, so it will be an event to remember," she said.

The dancer could not reveal the celebrities' names, but insisted it will be a treat for who turn out tonight.

"It a guh tun up loud. The whole entertainment industry will be there. Come out clean. We will have photobooth on entry, so you can take you instant glamor shots," she said.

The dancer also used the opportunity to comment on the state of the dance scene, which, she said, is making a grand return.

"We just need to be shown more respect, right now, because dancing is a career. We need artistes to also compensate dancers for their work. I am glad dancing is back on the forefront, like it used to, and we are working to make it stay there. Dancing will never die, but we need some extra support from recording artistes, and even the Government, because it is being captured in different parts of the world," she said.
