The March Pen Road community in Spanish Town, St Catherine, is now tense following a double murder there on Tuesday.

Those killed have been identified as Oral Wright and Craig Miller of March Pen Road, Spanish Town, St Catherine.

Reports are that sometime after 10 p.m., the men were in the community when explosions were heard. Checks later revealed that three men were hit.

They were taken to the nearby Spanish Town Hospital where Miller and Wright were pronounced dead and the injured man admitted in stable condition.

It is the second double murder in the St Catherine North police division following the murder of a couple in Kingland, Kitson Town, St Catherine last Saturday.

The St Catherine major Investigation Task Force is probing both incidents.
