Bjorn Burke, Staff Reporter Up to late yesterday, the Ocho Rios police say they are in search of a still-at-large suspect responsible for the death of a man in the parish on Sunday. The deceased man has been identified as 21-year-old Gladstock Blackwin of a Parry Town, St Ann address. The police's Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) reports that on January 4, at approximately 7:05 a.m., a resident went to Blackwin's Parry Town place of business and stumbled upon his body with multiple gunshot wounds. Subsequently, the police were summoned. Upon their arrival, the scene was processed, and the body was removed to the morgue. When THE STAR contacted police personnel yesterday, they were unable to provide a motive for the attack but said they are still probing the incident. Persons with information are urged to contact the Ocho Rios police at (876) 974-2533, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station. |
