Gay Star News, an international gay news media has reported that thugs threatened to kill the children of the acting principal of a central Jamaica high school after he was found in a picture with another man.

According to Gay Star, a family member revealed to them that persons have been promoting hate, and saying that the acting principal's children should be killed because they have been contaminated.

The principal, who is married to a woman and has three children, is being crucified and is not being helped by any kind of authority, the family member has revealed.

In the meantime, several comments below the story published on Gay Star's website have condemned the island for its treatment of homosexuals.

"You are proposing rationale thoughts to a group of people who don't hold rationale in high regard," said an individual in response to a previously posted comment.

"Well, let's face it, this is Jamaica another DUMB country with dumb laws and a backward mentality, perhaps they should be focusing more on the drug scum and crime on this island rather than this so called gay story," read another comment.

A new acting principal took office on Monday.

That person had the task of facing students at the central Jamaica school for the first time since the institution was plunged into a scandal surrounding explicit photos of the previous acting principal.
