WOMAN STABS DEEJAY WITH SCISSORS |
|||||
Artiste narrowly escapes death during altercation Chad Bryan, Staff Reporter Krushal, the recently crowned male winner of the Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall, is lucky to be alive after he claimed to have been stabbed just above his right lung by a woman last Saturday. According to Krushal, whose given name is Verron Jarrett, they were involved in an altercation after the woman alleged she did not get her just reward for helping him during his campaign to win the dancehall and reggae music talent show. "We had an altercation over the phone, and then she came to my house with garlic on her scissors to kill me. She said she put in a lot of work in my campaign while I was in Magnum and she said she didn't get what she deserved. She felt she should get more attention and money," he said. He continued that he tried to push her away from the gate when he realised that she was armed with the scissors. "She gave me the element of surprise," he added. The newly crowned Magnum King said the woman was also injured during the stabbing incident and brought the police to the hospital; however, the police told him that he should press charges against her. Krushal says he does not want to press charges, but wants a restraining order to be taken out against her. However, he remains in hospital until his release sometime this week.
