... goes viral since posted online

A man who claimed that it was his male lover who sent him to collect a bike and car that he allegedly was caught trying to steal has been the source of much mockery after a video of his confession went viral.

In the two-minute-long video, the man, clad in all white, a black hat and brown sandals, was seen in what appeared to be an office, speaking directly into the camera while being questioned by another man.

At the beginning of the short video, the cameraman questioned the man in white, "Who sent you here?" to which he responded, "Larry."

He was further asked, "Who's Larry to yuh?", to which he stated unabashedly, "Larry is my boyfriend."

The cameraman then asked him his reason for being on the premises, to which he responded, "Larry sent me here to pick up a car that's licensed and insured in my name."

The cameraman also asked him about a bike, to which he also claimed Larry sent him to collect and which is also licensed and insured in his name.

government worker

The apparent captive, who was in handcuffs, revealed that Larry holds a prestigious position at a Government agency.

While he was quite relaxed and co-operative at the beginning of the video, he became defensive after he was accused of lying about being sent for the bike and car by Larry.

"Is not no lie," he said while beating his handcuffed hands to his chest. The cameraman then asked, "Weh Larry do to yuh?", and it was this response which shocked viewers the most.

"Larry fme and tell me seh it is forever, so me know him is not telling any lie on me, and him naa do that. Me and him ago be foreverl. Me know that, mi general. Mek me look inna yuh camera and tell yuh dat," the now-emotional man admitted while facing the lens.

denial

The man, who at that point, appeared to be in denial, insisted he owns the car he was sent to collect by Larry. The self-proclaimed 'Larry-lover' then was seemingly confused when he was told by the cameraman that he was not leaving with the car or bike.

In the video, the cameraman deduced that the man was mentally ill and announced that he intended to find his family in a bid to get him medical attention.

Some viewers of the video online shared a similar sentiment, while others stated that it was greed that led him to that point.

"This is a very sad situation. My heart bleeds for this man, who is mentally unstable. Yet a few of us here find the need to put him down. Let's get him the help he truly needs," a viewer commented.

Another warned, "You should've asked Larry fi a job, but instead yuh mek Larry trick yuh like di chicken head you are. Young men of Jamaica, rise and assume your responsibility as a man, and be productive. Stop being lazy and looking handouts."

While another added, "All I can say is that every man choose their own path, and to be a homosexual is no crime. I like how him upfront with him ting from Larry."
