No paternity test for son he has with Ishawna

Dancehall selector Foota Hype is dispelling rumours that he intends to do a DNA test on his nine-year-old son with his ex-fiancé dancehall artiste Ishawna.

The allegations began spreading like wildfire, after several websites claimed that the selector had intentions of doing a DNA test on his son with the Need Love singer because of her alleged infidelity.

According to one website, "an anonymous source close to the couple told ... that Foota Hype is in the process of doing a DNA test to ease his mind. Foota thinks that Ishawna might have been cheating on him throughout their entire relationship."

But with much laughter, Foota Hype denied the allegations and told THE STAR that he is aware of the rumours and knows why it started.

"There is no truth to this, people just saying is me seh that to give the story credibility pan dem website. me neva do a DNA test and I don't intend to do one. I know my son is my son and even if by some reason he isn't, I love him same way. it all started because dem just a finish destroy what's left of her (Ishawna) dignity and pride."

He also told THE STAR that he blames his former lover for the rumours.

"I blame her 100 per cent for all of this. she should have assessed her actions and think of the repercussions. you're a mother, you have to act responsibly. people just a give her a beaten and a give me and my son a beaten too because of her."

Earlier this year, the embattled couple had very messy public break-up which spanned months after announcing their engagement last year, after almost a decade of being in a relationship.
