Recording artiste A-Shane recently released his new single, 'Waah Money', on the Rival rhythm produced by Scuare Wan and Avikon Records.

The artiste, who recently performed on the series of Suncity Campus Invasion Tours, has been making great moves in dancehall and building a fan base as he progresses. A-Shane shared: "This single is really about life, social status and us ghetto youths wanting equal rights and equal pay".

The single has been receiving air play on several radio stations such as Fame, Suncity 104.9 and Zip FMs. "I feel very elated to know that the DJs are receiving my music well and that I am on my way to breaking barriers in this industry," he said.

Even though branded as an up-and-coming artiste, A-Shane has shared the big stage at Digicel 5K Run and Clarendon Jerk Festival with some major acts such as Beenie Man, Demarco and Sizzla. "It's always good to perform at these events, especially when you are trying to build your career; music is a necessity for me and I want to continue to pursue it," he revealed.

The video for Waan Money is to be shot in A-Shane's home town in Portmore, St Catherine; downtown Kingston; and Half-Way Tree, St Andrew. He added: "The video will show realities in Jamaica, especially the levels of injustice faced by ghetto youths." A-Shane intends to commence his promotional runs after the release of the video in December.
