K Queens to release video for 'Stress Ova Man'

Dancehall duo K Queens will release the music video for its single 'Stress Ova Man' before 2015.

The video, which was filmed in Atlanta in November, was directed by United States-based director Dre Music.

According to Kaydine of the duo, the song is intended to empower women. The song has been receiving favourable airplay on both local and international radio stations.

Stress Ova Man was produced by Lock City of Truck Back Records and sees the deejays toasting over an old-school-inspired dancehall rhythm.

"The video will be released in Jamaica and overseas, and fans can expect a lot of fun from the footage because we definitely showed our more fun side. You will also get a chance to see our acting skills because we have a little of that, too," Kaydine said.

Comprising identical sisters Kaydine and Kerine, the duo now looks to carry its talent to 13-year-old stage show GT Taylor Extravaganza for the third year. K Queens says this performance will be different.

"It will be a high-energy performance and will show our growth. We have matured, and fans will definitely see that maturity. We are officially booked and will be performing our own set, so patrons, we have a lot in store for you," Kaydine said.

The duo will release several singles in 2015. It is also expected to execute a string of international projects under its recently signed record deal with US-based company Osiris South Records.
