Reggae/gospel artiste Robert Burchell has been added to the line-up of GT Taylor's Christmas Extravaganza. According to the artiste, who released his debut album earlier this year, the long-standing stage show is a good place to end the year.

"I am an example that whatever the mind conceives it will achieve. My professional career is just eleven months, and for me to be featured on one of the longest-reigning event in Jamaica, it's definitely a dream in reality," Burchell said.

GT Taylor's Christmas Extravaganza will be held at Independence Park, St Elizabeth, on Christmas day. The show will feature several top-flight dancehall and reggae artistes, including Bounty Killer and Beenie Man, who recently put an end to their over 20-year-feud.

Robert Burchell recently performed at the 22nd African Caribbean International Festival of Life (IFOL) in Chicago. The artiste also executed a strong promotional campaign earlier this year, where he connected with audiences across various demographics across the Caribbean in over 20 interviews.

"It has been a great year with a lot of hard work. I am also father, husband, musician, entrepreneur, and caregiver. But I managed to prepare the right schedule with my team, and from where I am looking at this point, my music career is in good hands, and we will grow from strength to strength," Robert Burchell said.

His single, Never Judge a Book, is currently receiving regular rotation on local and international radio and is also featured on the the album Agape.

"personally, this is a step in the right direction. The aim is to get exposure wherever and whenever I can. The feedback from family, friends, fans and well-wishers in regards to my work is encouraging, so this performance at GT Taylor's Christmas Extravaganza is for them," he said.
