Upcoming dancehall artiste Hot Hennessy is poised to make his mark in the local music industry for the upcoming year, as he injects his unique blend of offerings to the nation's radio stations.

"I was always a person who loves the art of music from I was a child growing up, so when I reached high school, it was there that I discovered my talent," Hot Hennessy said. "I used to deejay in class and clash with some of my classmates, and even older students who wanted to challenge me, I never resisted because I was eager to win."

The artiste, who currently has singles Hand To Mouth and Friends burning up the airwaves, has linked with a number of producers from whom he has learnt a lot.

"The whole vibe of it was great knowing that they love the music that is coming form me, and as a young artiste trying to get a break in the business, it's good when producers motivate you," he explained.

Hot Hennessy is currently working with producer Louie V, which is also the name of the Greater Portmore, St Catherine-based studio in which he records.

"He makes good rhythms, he is also a person who will help me to get the songs straight and flow with the rhythm, so with my ideas and his input create an ideal song," he said of Louie V.
