De Apple Vodka creating waves

Dancehall insiders are raving about the adrenaline-pumping De Apple Vodka rhythm, a recent release on the Control Tower Squad label. The rhythm has been blowing up all over the radio like missiles over Afghanistan.

Kalado leads out the riddim with Living the Life, while Italee dreams of a Real Man. Patexx suggests Let's Drink while Limitless declares that he is Ready to Party. Other standout songs include Black Kush's Feeling Good, T Nitro's Got to Make It while rookie Badsuh's boasts of Get Gal Anyweh.

The executive producer of the rhythm is Lance 'Boko B' Wallace, who is enthusiastic about the buzz the project has created so far in Jamaica.

"I was involved in music through a sound called Boko B sound, and then I did my first production, Barble Dove riddim with Gyptian, Little Hero, Badsuh which was released in 2011. Now, I am getting a good buzz with 'De Apple Vodka'," the owner of the Control Tower Squad label said.

The songs have also made it to the hottest mixes from DJ Kenny and DJ Dotcom.

Boko B has signed a number of new artistes to his label during the course of the year. Those artistes are Equipment from Cockburn Pen, T Nitro from St Thomas and Krypton from the Gully Side. He has also secured a road manager, Dockey, to monitor the artistes.

high hopes

"Right now, mi and Quick Cook team up, and we ah go pressure dem inna music. Mi have high hopes for Krypton who won four times over Clash Wednesday that Popcaan hosted earlier in the year. De Apple Vodka ah shot!!!" the London-based producer said.

The Control Tower Squad will release the next project, '100 Degrees' featuring Demarco, T Nitro, I-Octane, Equipment, Black Kush, ZJ Liquid and Quick Cook collaboration, Kalado and Wildaxe in early 2015.
