TRAINER Dwight Chen yesterday reported COME DANCE WITH ME as being 'sound and happy' for Saturday's $3.6m Pick-3 Super Challenge Trophy at Caymanas Park, naming Wayne DaCosta's POLLY B as the main threat to his speedy filly.

COME DANCE WITH ME is ante-post favourite for the 1400-metre event, the second leg of the Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) Two-Year-Old Series. The Howard Hamilton-owned filly won Race One, the Cash Pot Trophy, by three lengths on October 6.

However, two impressive performances by DaCosta's colt, POLLY B, have not gone unnoticed by Chen.

"She is going seven furlongs with POLLY B in the race, who won in a class record. I am sure he will be coming to run and it is reported that SILVER CLOUD, his stablemate, is actually classic material," Chen pointed out.

POLLY B debuted with a fast-time win at 1000 metres straight in October. He showed versatility on Superstakes Day, November 8, by chasing speedy TURN ME LOOSE into the lane and overpowered the Philip Feanny-trained runner to win in 1:18.3 on a fast strip

COME DANCE WITH ME has not gone past 1200 metres as opposed to POLLY B, who Chen pointed to "as the horse to beat".

"I think the danger, going seven, is POLLY B. Going a furlong more, it's left to be seen if she will stay. I am sure she will be a top-class sprinter but thank God I have the two-kilo sex allowance. She is sound and happy, I couldn't ask for more," he said.

Today's draw for post position holds no fears for Chen, who pointed out that COME DANCE WITH ME was drawn at the dreaded post-position one in her two starts to date.

"I don't think the draw will matter to any of the horses. It's a long backstretch," he noted.

COME DANCE WITH ME is two races away from being the first horse to claim the $1m bonus to sweep the SVL Series, which is completed by December's Jamaica Two-Year-Old Stakes.

Chen, however, said he is not at all thinking about the bonus. After all, he has been in this position before with LADYLIKE, who had won the Cash Pot Trophy in 2011, but failed to win another race in the series.

"It's not on my mind. The only time you think about that is if you win both legs and are going into the third," he said.
