Man seeks DNA after woman's infidelity

Thirty three-year-old Edwin Kingis hoping to be selected as this month's Paternity Puzzle winner as he claims his babymother 21-year-old Jennifer Tatewas also having an affair with his closest friend.

Tate, unemployed, claimed she met King, a former bus driver-turned-taxi-operator, when she was a first-form student at a prominent all-girls institution sometime in 2005 and became pregnant in 2009.

Their ideas of how events transpired that led Tate to becoming pregnant, having a girl child who is now four years old, differ but both acknowledged that Tate was also seeing King's best friend.

According to Tate, they were never in a relationship, but only got intimate after they became quite close. King on the other hand, said that they did share a relationship.

Tate: "We weren't together. You just deal with someone. You and that person just talk and became intimate, not really together. I got pregnant in 2009."

King: "She was going to school at the time and almost graduated. and round a year after she graduate she get pregnant. We were in a relationship for about a year."

Doubt began creeping in King's mind when he discovered that Tate was seeing his best friend during the same time they both were involved. However, Tate is certain the child belongs to King.

Tate: "I am positive it is his. I got intimate with his friend. My child doesn't look anything like the friend. She has the features of Mr King."

King: "The baby doesn't look like me. It favour Jennifer. She nuh have nothing for me."

Both individuals say they will carry on with their lives if the DNA reveals that the child does not belong to King. However, King says he will honour his role as a father if he discovers that the child is indeed his.

King: "Mi just have to move on with my life if it is not mine. Surely, if the child is mine, I will look after her."

Tate: "Try to move on and look after the child with the help of my family."
