My sister turned him against me

Dear Pastor,

I am 52 years old, the third of 12 children. Seven of my siblings have different fathers. My dad took me when I was three months old. My mother had walked out on him. My stepdad got my older sister pregnant and he was also molesting another sister. My mother never came back home. When I was 18, I had a sister who was 16.

My dad never accepted her as his child but she looks just like me. She wasn't behaving herself sexually. I used to curse her. I was a child myself. I never hit her. After eight months, she was taken to an aunt in Kingston. After a few years, my aunt called me and told me she was pregnant. When I tried talking to her, she pulled a knife and tried to slash my throat, so my aunt turned her out. She went to live in the inner city and shacked up with a don, and the rest is history.

She has five children. She did not tell them the truth about me. They believe I beat her up as a child. They have been kept away from family who could tell them the truth. The youngest boy wants to seek justice. I am living in fear of my life. I had death threats.

The mother is now in trouble in England. She blames me for informing on her. I have nothing to do with her. She has not spoken to me for 28 years. My life is on the line.

Dear D,

I believe that you have tried to hold your head up, so to speak. Your mother evidently had a very difficult time with men. They did not treat her well and she had a number of relationships. I suppose she was hoping that she would find a good man.

Your sister is just as unfortunate when it comes to men. She chose to live with a don man and evidently she was unable to train her children to behave and not to get themselves into trouble. Even her last child is threatening to kill you.

Please, do not be afraid to report him to the police if he is indeed threatening you.
