Man uses fan to assualt babymother, told to pay her medical bills |

|
A man who used a standing fan to hit his babymother all over her body was told to fork up the medical bills and was also fined on Thursday in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court. Charged with wounding is Duran Blair. He pleaded guilty to the offence. The complainant was asked by Resident Magistrate Lorna-Shelly Williams, "Did you go to the doctor? How much money did you spend?" The complainant said, "Yes, Your Honour, I spent $3,000." Blair then compensated the complainant, however, he was asked to find another $25,000 or spend two months in prison for his actions. A fingerprint order was also made. |
