An Ananda Alert has been activated for 16-year-old Shemar Wellington, ward of the state at the St Augustine Boys' Home in Chapelton, Clarendon, who has been missing since Saturday, November 15.

Shemar is of dark complexion, medium build and is about 168 centimetres (5 feet 6 inches) tall.

Reports from the Chapelton police are that about 4 p.m., Shemar was last seen at the facility and has not been heard from since. His mode of dress at the time he went missing is unknown.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Shemar Wellington is being asked to contact the Chapleton police at 987-2244, police 119 emergency number, or the nearest police station.
