The 5th staging of Different Strokes retro party

Different Strokes moves into higher gear. Party promoter Sean Greenfield is one of the most creative and innovative promoters in western Jamaica.

Under his Seashli brand, he has introduced several successful party events to the Negril entertainment calendar, including Soakin Wett, Girl's Time, Mas Vida and the ultra popular Different Strokes retro party series.

Different Strokes was launched in March 2009 as a once-a-year event. Since then, it has grown to become one of the most popular retro party series in Jamaica, attracting patrons from all over the island and abroad.

However, due to the popularity of the event the promoter was forced to stage it twice per year.

"Since we launched Different Strokes, it has been growing rapidly. It's now held in March and November. The fans love this event because of the high level of entertainment that it offers," said Greenfield.

In keeping with the growth of the event each year, the promoter has implemented new ideas to keep patrons hooked to his event.

The next staging of Different Strokes will take place on November 22 at Chances, Negril.

Patrons will get something extra as for the very first time, there will be a special live performance segment at the party, with '80s dancehall kingpin General Trees in performance.

Also on the line-up for Different Strokes are DJ Marvin from FAME FM, Donovan Dacres from RJR 94 FM and DJ Krayzi from Negril.

The main sponsor for Different Strokes is Charley's JB Rum.
