Another JustBet customer won big today after collecting more than $1.2 MILLION in winnings from JustBet, Supreme Ventures' sports-betting division.

The winning bettor, R. Rodney, hails from St James, and placed a $200 bet on seven NBA games on Friday, November 7. He placed his wager at the Supreme Ventures Sports Betting location at 12 St James Street in Montego Bay. Rodney used a combination of half-time and full-time predictions for each of the seven games, in order to maximise his potential winnings.

Rodney, who admits his favourite sport is actually football, explained that he is a long time JustBet punter who bets practically every day and likes to mix and match the various options as he did in this instance.

"I was nervous on Friday night," Rodney said after collecting his winner's cheque at the Supreme Ventures regional office in New Kingston today.

"There was one game in particular, Boston Celtics vs Indiana Pacers. The Pacers were the underdogs and I needed them to win, or if they lost, they had to lose by three points or fewer because the full-time point spread was 3.5 points. If they lost by more than three, then the whole ticket would have lost. The Pacers lost the game by exactly three points and barely covered the point spread, which meant that my ticket was still alive. I am a man who knows basketball, but I think I had a little luck on my side. It was just my day. I just hope the rest of the NBA season treats me this good!"
