Three time champions, Camperdown and relative newcomers Hydel will be looking to advance to the semi-final stage of the ISSA/LIME Manning Cup when group KÕs decider kicks of at 1:00p.m. today. The clash is the feature game of a double header at the Spanish Town Prison Oval, with Charlie Smith vs Vauxhall to follow at 3:00 p.m. Those teams will be battling for a semi final spot in Group I. Innswood is in with a chance of qualifying also, and will play Norman Manley at the Constant Spring Sports Complex at 3:00 p.m.

Camperdown are in pole position, however, courtesy of winning both games without conceding. A draw will see Camperdown advance to the last four, coach Christopher Bender, however ruled out a complacent approach.

ÒWe are wary of going for a draw. We will not go into this game complacent,Ó Bender said. The coach, who was a member of CamperdownÕs victorious 1982 triple crown winning team, remains quietly confident.

ÒWe have an excellent group of players, so we are only concerned about getting a positive result,Ó he said.

Bender added that the team is banking on a total team effort to see them through. Top scorers Ramiesh McKnight (12) and Andre McCatty six goals respectively are the players to watch.

Hydel on the other hand have four points courtesy of one win and a draw. They have scored three goals and conceded one. Hydel have been one of the most free scoring units this season and will be looking to talisman Stephen Barnett on 19 goals and creative midfielder Nicholas Nelson, 12 goals in all competitions.

Coach Donovan Hayles knows the game is a must win.

ÒWe have to go all out from the start, press home the advantage and get early goals," said Hayles.

ÒWe know what we have to do to win and will be sticking to it,Ó he added.
