Almost 12 years ago, Niceisha Johnson gave birth to identical twin girls, Daniela and Danielle Jaggan at the Victoria Jubilee Hospital in Kingston. However, with both parents Niceisha and Rupert Jaggan holding down 9-5 jobs, the girls were soon taken to New Longville in Clarendon to live with the Jaggan's extended family.

They were welcomed with open arms into the close-knit, christian home of the Jaggan's family, where they quickly developed as typical twins do, into a close, protective and friendly relationship with each other according to the girls' aunt, Leila Jaggan.

"They (Daniela aka Bubbles and Danielle aka Mel) came to live with us when they were just a couple months old, and since they have been here, it's just pure joy to have them around. Bubbles and Mel are quiet, kind, jovial and fun to be around," the aunt told The Star Life & Times.

"We are a close-knit Christian family who place a lot of emphasis on education and good morals and so far, they have fitted in quite well with our family's principles," the aunt added.

She informed The Star that the girls who are students at the New Longville Primary School, share similar interests, friends and pastimes and almost every other activity. However, where they differ, is with career choices, with Daniela dreaming of becoming an ornithologist (a person who studies birds) and Danielle, a nurse.

She also boasted that her identical nieces are doing spectacularly at school and have their mind set on attending Glenmuir High next September. The twins are also fast-rising chefs, who enjoy making breakfast and their favourite dish, baked chicken with rice and peas, but bemoans that they both hate housework.

"They share most other activities. They are members of the 4-H club, the school dance group, the cadets, and Red Cross," the aunt shared.

The soft-spoken shy future nurse and ornithologist told The Star Life & Times that they love to go the river and the beach with the family as they are good swimmers. They also expressed confidence that they will be placed at their school of choice - Glenmuir High - come September.

"I love the beach," Daniela declared smiling during the interview. "... and the river too," her sister interjected, followed by a confident declaration that, "It's Glenmuir we are going to school."
