Holy Trinity take on favourites Jamaica College at Sabina Park Robert Bailey, Star Writer Reining Manning Cup champions Jamaica College (JC) and giant killers Holy Trinity will clash in today's big final of the Inter-secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA) LIME Super Cup knockout competition at Sabina Park starting at 4 p.m. The feature encounter between JC and Holy Trinity is expected to very exciting, as both teams will be at full strength for today's final. The teams will also play a similar style of attacking football, and this is expected to provide a lot of entertainment and excitement for fans. JC, who are seeking unprecedented four titles this year, will start as the overwhelming favourites over Holy Trinity, as they seek to capture their first title of the season. JC are also into the final of the Walker Cup against St George's College. The Miguel Coley-coached unit should feel very confident about themselves heading into today's clash, after defeating Holy Trinity twice this season, once in the quarter-finals of the Walker Cup and also in the second round of the Manning Cup. The Dark Blues booked their place in the final following their impressive 3-1 win over STETHS. JC have also recorded victories over St James and Hydel on their way to reaching today's final. The Old Hope Road-based school, who are unbeaten so far, have been one of the most impressive teams in schoolboy football. JC will enter today's contest oozing with confidence, following their 16-0 victory over Denham Town on Wednesday, which propelled them into the semi-final of the Manning Cup competition. Former national Under-17 captain Junior Flemmings, who has been banging in the goals for JC this season, will be on a high heading into today's final, after scoring five goals against Denham Town in midweek. However, they face a well-organised Holy Trinity defensive unit, who have just conceded two goals in the competition thus far. Flemmings is expected to receive a lot of support from fellow strikers Allando Brown, who netted a hatrick against Denham Town, and Akeem Shackleford. Rafique Bryan, Sheldon McKoy, Donovan Segree, and Donovan Dawkins will pull the strings in the midfield, while their defence will be marshalled by Leon Sewell, Shemar Robinson and Hugh Watson. Holy Trinity, who are the surprise team in the competition, secured their spot in the final after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Wolmer's. The Devon Anderson-coached team, who coming off a 12-0 defeat to Excelsior, in which they rested several starters, will be aiming to pull off another huge upset in today's final. Holy Trinity have also recorded victories over Clarendon College and Garvey Maceo on their way to the final and will enter today's contest knowing a victory over their more-fancied opponents will see them lifting their first schoolboy title. Striker Joel Sterling, who scored the winning goal against Wolmer's, along with Jevon Fuller, will lead hunt for goals. They are expected to receive valuable support from André Leslie and Chevon Bryan.
