Shakesphere wants more after Stone Love award |

![]() Contributed Shakesphere CURTIS CAMPBELL, STAR Writer Local dancer Shakesphere hails from rural Jamaica, however the comedic dancer is gradually making a name for himself in the capital city, recently winning the Stone Love award for being the most supportive dancer. According to the dancer, he was discovered by dancers from Kingston while kicking up a storm in St Thomas, he was then advised to move to Kingston if he wanted to pursue a dancing career professionally, an advice he took, and has not regretted to this day. "Since I came to Kingston things have been going well. I am in a lot of music videos and featured at a lot of parties and now everybody know who is Shakesphere and what I bring to a party once I step in," the dancer said. The award winning dancer is not only known for his dancing skills, but also his strange style of dressing, normally complemented by a pair of huge and colourful sunglasses. This he says is a part of his artistic image. Young dancer "As a dancer you With one major dancehall award under his belt, the young dancer now looks to dominate other dancing categories such as best male dancer and best dance move. Shakesphere is also looking forward to embark on international tours in the near future, where he hopes to teach at dancing workshop and perform at dancehall events. To see Shakesphere at his best, dancing fans can catch the dancer in action at Weddy Weddy Wednesdays, Uptown Mondays and Horny Fridays among other popular street dances. The dancer is currently featured in the music video for Bling Dawg and Di Kreecha's song and dance video Kreech alongside choreographer Latonya Style. |
