![]() Bling Dawg Sadeke Brooks, Staff Reporter Dancing might not be his forte, but dancehall artiste Bling Dawg has been making his way back into dancehall forefront with Kreech. The song, which is also the name of a popular dance move, has been making the rounds at events all across Jamaica. Bling Dawg explained that he was promoting Drop It Low at an event when he came across the Kreech dance move. "I got a link to Kreecha (creator of the dance) and tell him how I love the dance. I got a number for him and invite him to the studio," he said, noting that the song was produced by Esco. Since its release, the song has been doing well and Bling Dawg says he is pleased. "I have to give thanks. It's like a team effort with me, Kreecha, Happenaz and Esco. It's a lot of work we do at night, street promotion at almost every event. It is just tireless work and no sleep," he told THE STAR. But this is not the first time that Bling Dawg has tapped into the dancing sphere. Over a decade ago, he recorded Zip It Up with deceased dancer Bogle. Now, he is onto a third dance song with Kreech Again featuring Busy Signal and Kreecha. Bling Dawg says there might be other dance songs in the pipeline because he has now formed a friendship with Kreecha. "Kreecha is like a friend of mine so as long as we still a par, we will still have dancing songs to enhance his dance moves," he said. As dance moves like Kreech, Syva and Shampoo continue to gain popularity, Bling Dawg has declared that this will be a dancing December. While the dance songs, Kreech and Kreech Again, continue to gain traction, Bling Dawg says he is also promoting Beng Beng that was produced by Truckback Records. With this song and others, Bling Dawg says he has realised that the best way to promote his song is in the streets. This, he said, he realised after taking a break from dancehall.
