An Ananda Alert has been activated for 16-year-old Ashanti Barrett of Kermit Drive, Kingston 20, who has been missing since Tuesday, September 23. She is of dark complexion, slim build and is about 171 centimetres (5 feet 6 inches) tall.

Reports from the Duhaney Park police are that about 7 p.m., Barrett was last seen at home dressed in a black-and-tangerine-coloured shirt and blue jeans pants. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Ashanti Barrett is being asked to contact the Duhaney Park Police at 933-2480, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
