Court told ... NATIONAL PLAYER POSTS EX-LOVER NUDE PICS ONLINE

A national rugby player, accused of revenge pornography, is to return to the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court in October as Internet data analysis by the Cybercrime Unit of the Jamaica Constabulary Force is outstanding.

Revenge pornography is the publishing of sexually explicit pictures of former partners. He has been charged with obscene publication.

The Crown alleges that on September 5, about 1 p.m., the accused allegedly uploaded nude photographs of the complainant, with whom he had a relationship, on Facebook. On September 18, the complainant took the police to the accused man's house where she pointed him out.

He admitted under caution to the police that he had uploaded approximately four pictures that were on his phone. It is further alleged that the photos were uploaded out of an incident caused by the female, which led him to his actions.

He is to return to court on October 21.
