|||||
![]() D-Major Leighton Levy, Star Writer D-Major continues to enjoy pleasant surprises on his nine-city 'Real Know Real' tour in Europe. The entertainer recently performed at shows in Berlin, Mannheim and Stuttgart, and said the experiences have opened his eyes to what is possible for his singing career. "In Berlin, it rained but people still came out and called for an encore, which was amazing," he said. Mannheim, where Chronixx performed a few weeks ago, was also a memorable experience for the entertainer. Saturday night's show in Stuttgart, he said, was the biggest. Huge crowds turned out to see the well-muscled entertainer sing songs from his album and other crowd favourites. "That was mad vibes. It ram, ram, ram," he said. "There were a lot of people outside who couldn't get in. They called for encores and they were singing songs that I was surprised they were singing. It was just beautiful. It is testament to how technology makes the music so easily accessible." In the context of the tour, having the initial objective of introducing him to new markets, the singer said he continues to be surprised by what he has discovered. "It has given me a sense of where I am and what I need to do, and most importantly, my worth, my value. This tour was to be an introduction of D-Major to this side of the world but it has turned out be more, like, 'D-Major a long time we waan see you'." Some fans from Finland, he said, told him that Real Know Real was a number one song there for about a year, information that has given him much confidence about the potential of the markets he wants to break into and may already have.
