Tom Laing continues to make huge strides on the reggae-music scene.

The New York-based singer recently topped the Jamaica Music Countdown Top 25 Reggae singles chart with his single, Belly Of The Beast, featuring Capleton.

This is Laing's third consecutive number-one single on the chart since he returned to the music scene last summer after a long hiatus.

"It feels very good to have another number-one song under my belt. I am very happy that this song has brought so much success for me and Capleton," Laing said.

Prior to the release of Belly Of The Beast, Tom Laing topped the Jamaica Music Countdown Top 25 Reggae singles chart with the lovers' rock anthem, Finally Free, last year. Earlier this year, he scored another number one single on the chart with the thought-provoking One More.

Both songs also registered on a number of other charts including the Foundation Radio Network Top 30 Music Chart in New York and the South Florida Top 25 Reggae Singles Chart.

"Since last year, I have been enjoying a very good run. I am truly humbled by this success and I give thanks to Jah for all that's going on with my career. I have to big up all my fans, all the DJs who are playing my music and everyone who is supporting my career," said Laing.

Belly Of The Beast is number five on the Foundation Radio Network Top 30 Music Chart in New York and number 12 on the South Florida Top 25 Reggae Singles Chart.
