Dancehall artiste Tommy Lee Sparta had his bail condition altered, allowing him to travel overseas when he appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.

Tommy Lee Sparta, 26, whose real name is Leroy Russell, is charged with breaching the Law Reform (Fraudulent Transaction) (Special Provisions) Act, along with four co-accused.

Through an appeal by his lawyer, Tommy Lee Sparta is now able to travel outside of the island from September 8 to October 22, then from December 12 to 22.

Subsequently, Russell had his bail extended by Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey.
