UK-based recording artiste Jaya Kosa, hopes to make a big impact on the local music scene. The talented vocalist/songwriter, from south west London, was recently in Jamaica promoting his single and video, Do It Again. "This track is an island pop-flavoured song. So far, we've given it to a number of radio stations, club DJs and sound-system selectors in Jamaica, and the response has been very good. I genuinely think it has the potential to be a big hit in Jamaica. My management team and I are going to do everything possible to make it happen", said the artiste. During his visit to the island, Kosa, who is of Jamaican parentage, took time out to soak up the local culture and promote his music. He was also in studios working on a number of projects including a collaboration with fast-rising dancehall artiste Tabeta Cshae, one called Caribbean Love. "The vibes in Jamaica was very good. We went to a
number of events to promote the song and enjoy the culture. I also did some work in the
studio. I recorded on a hot new track with Tabeta Cshae, Caribbean Love. I'm very
excited about this song. I can't wait to see how the fans will respond to it when it's released", said Jaya Kosa. |
