Contractor's UK tour reaps success |

|
Sean 'Contractor' Edwards' successful tour of the United Kingdom continues. The recording artiste and marketing guru has, so far, impressed on stage shows and radio appearances within the region. Contractor, based in St Ann, appeared on Heart of Love and Spice Radio with DJ Gangsta Kid, and DJ Da Mg the guru, respectively. During the features, Contractor spoke about the state of reggae music, his work as a music-marketing agent and sang two of his songs. The Break My Promise author followed up with performances at the One Love Festival in the UK, August 15-17, and at the annual Nottingham Carnival in London, August 24. He also travelled to Scotland to open a show for veteran reggae artiste, Cornel Campbel, at the Rum Shack, August 29. A few days before, Contractor appeared on the Sunny Govan radio in Glasgow to promote the event. According to Contractor, patrons have received him warmly, taking a liking to his songs, which also include Babylon Be Still, All I Need and Guilty. "It feels good to be performing and the patrons are receiving the music with warmth. That's what you get in Europe, very engaged fans. The tour, so far, has been good. The radio gigs have been very interesting and stimulating because I was given the chance to talk about reggae music, which is loved all across Europe," he said. |
