Stolen vehicles and car parts recovered in Sandy Bay

The May Pen police recovered four Nissan motor vehicles and several car parts at Sunrise, Sandy Bay in Clarendon, during a recent operation, THE STAR understands.

The vehicles, a dark green Nissan Sunny; a dark grey Nissan; a black Nissan Sunny; and a scrapped black Nissan, are believed to have been stolen.

According to the police, on Monday, a premises in the community was searched about 1 p.m. and the vehicles and car parts were discovered.

THE STAR gathered that two people were taken into custody in relation to the find.

Their identities are being withheld pending further investigations.

The police are asking anyone who may be able to identify any of the vehicles to contact Corporal Bailey or Constable Lewis at the May Pen Police Station at 986-2529.
