West Indies captain, Darren Sammy, says the team will be firing on all cylinders when they face Bangladesh in the one-off Dhaka Bank T20 International tonight. The match begins at 7 p.m. (Ja time)

"The side is powerful and once we fire on all cylinders we're always going to be a destructive force," Sammy said on the eve of the match.

West Indies made a clean sweep of the three-match Dhaka Bank one-day international series and Sammy believes they have the ability to make it four wins in a row when the two teams meet at Warner Park.

"It's a format in which we've done well," Sammy said. "We've been champions (World) of that format so we've to continue to show that we're very good in this format and bring that exciting brand of cricket that the world loves to see West Indians play."

Loaded with power hitters

The team completed a 3-0 ODI series whitewash over Bangladesh with a 91-run victory at Warner Park in Monday's day/night game, with wicketkeeper/batsman Denesh Ramdin blasting a record 169 off 121 deliveries.

The West Indies team is loaded with power hitters, including opening batsman Chris Gayle, along with Kieron Pollard, André Russell and Sammy. Even though he doesn't pack the same muscles, wicketkeeper Ramdin showed that he has the capability to smash the ball far, as he unloaded 11 sixes in his innings on Monday night, when he scored the highest ever total by a West Indies wicketkeeper in ODI's, the third highest total by a West Indian batsman, equal with Brian Lara.

"Denesh has been playing really, really well and I think we've finally found a position for him where he could really express himself as a one-day and T20 player," Sammy said. Bangladesh will look to captain Mushfiqur Rahim, explosive opener Tamim Iqbal, and all-rounder Mahmudullah to counter the West Indians.
