Roadblock stages flagship party 'Full Black'

If there ever was a premium hard-core dancehall event, this is it. Roadblock, the flagship event of the Team Roadblock Entertainment Group, will host its seventh staging tonight.

The 'Full Black'-themed event promises to surpass last year's record, which is repeatedly reset after each staging of what is now a staple event in the dancehall arena and a household name for the residents of Kingston 20 and the public at large.

Strategically placed at the end of the summer season, the event promises to not only deliver, but exceed the expectations of existing patrons who look forward to this yearly event which grows extensively with each staging since 2011, and prospective patrons, who will be having their first, but certainly not last experience of this event.

The event will be held at the Duhaney Park Football Field, located at 122b Baldwin Crescent. Patrons who seek a more intimate experience, which entails premium bottle service from the hostesses, will be treated to an elevated sky deck view with breakfast, courtesy of Chicken & Tings. This VIP area will be provided at a cost of $1000. General admission will be $500.

Known for its ability to excite, thrill and have patrons 'turn up', musical ambience will be presented by five of Jamaica's finest DJs. These include Boom Boom and Harry Hype, Flava Unit, Little Shabba & Bad Gyal Marie (The Diversified Duo), DJ Banka & DJ Siddoo (Della Soul Sound), and First Class Sound.

The event is sponsored by Chicken & Tings, Boom Energy Drinks, Schweppes, Coco Cola, Minute Maid Cranberry & Wata, Real Party Gods, Foster Shots, Dacosta Trading, and Route 32.
