Mr Khool ready for the big times

Dancehall artiste Mr Khool is moving full speed ahead with his career.

The hard-working deejay who is known for his witty stage performances is determined to become the next big dancehall act out of Mandeville.

"It's been almost five years now since Khago got his break. Mandeville has not produced another big dancehall star since that. Khago is not hot anymore. Mandeville, needs a new star and I am going to be the one to put Mandeville, back on the musical map," said Mr Khool.

He is confident that he has what it takes to surpass the success of other acts from the area, who have made it big in the dancehall music arena.

"I'm sure that I have the ability to go further in the business than all the other artistes who have made it who are from Mandeville, including Khago and Ce'Cile. First thing, my stage presence is greater than theirs and my lyrics are better," said the artiste.

Mr Khool has been very busy in the studio in recent times. "I have been recording a lot of new tracks, most of them are for Insight Records, that's the label I'm signed to but I am also recording songs for other producers. I just recorded a nice party track called Party Everyday with an artiste called Sean Sonic, for a label in New York called Rich Hard Records. This song is going to be a big party song, the girls are going to love it," said Mr Khool.

Mr Khool recently delivered another spectacular performance when he performed at the JCDC Independence Show in Mandeville on Independence Day.
