André Williams, STAR Writer
Four police personnel and two prisoners were rushed to hospital, following a motor vehicle crash on the Pepper main road, St Elizabeth, Monday afternoon. Our news team was told that a female officer, as well as two prisoners, were treated and released. Reports are that about 1:30 p.m. the police service vehicle, being driven from Mandeville to Santa Cruz, skidded, hit a ditch an overturned. The police have, so far, pointed to wet road conditions as the cause for the crash. THE STAR understands the prisoners were being taken to court. |
