A huge crowd flocked Sugar Pot Beach, Rio Nuevo, St Mary, to witness the third annual Shades Pon De Beach.

Promoter Lloyd Cameron of Shades Nightclub said, it was a larger turnout than last year and, despite a billing that had three new and upcoming dancehall artistes, the majority of the audience said that the Shades Divas stole the show

"Well, it was better than last year. Each year it gets better and better, and next year it's going to be even better," Cameron said.

"There were a few little things that could have been improved, but each year we learn more and more how to please the customer."

"We got a lot of help from Liquid Nitro and we have to big them up, and of course we want to big up our followers. we are very grateful for their support and they could feel free to tell us what they want and we shall provide it."
