Woman on ganja charge remanded |

|
While taking food for her incarcerated lover, 32-year-old Geraldine Haslam of a Kingston 11 address, decided to sneak ganja to him in the lock-up. Haslam, who pleaded guilty to possession of and dealing in ganja pleaded not guilty to being armed with an offensive weapon. It was alleged that she was armed with a ratchet knife in public in Half-way Tree, St Andrew. According to reports, on Sunday, July 13, around 2:15 p.m. Haslam took a plastic bag with food for her boyfriend, who is in custody at the Half-way Tree Police Station. Her bag was searched and eight small packages weighing a total of one pound two ounces of ganja were found among the food items. She was remanded and returns to court for sentencing on July 25. |
