West Indies Under-19 captain Ramaal Lewis, and Eltham High all-rounder Ramone Francis, were the stars of the show on Tuesday at the annual ISSA/ GraceKennedy Awards ceremony held at the Mona Visitor's Lodge, University of the West Indies.

Lewis was responsible for leading St Elizabeth Technical (STETHS) to the podium on three occasions, after guiding them to the coveted high-school treble of the rural-area Headley Cup, the rural-area knockout, and the all-island Spalding Cup.

He also took to the stage to collect one of the top individual accolades, the Carlton Alexander Award, which is awarded to the player who demonstrates the highest level of sportsmanship, leadership and discipline throughout the season.

His teammate, Kevon Williams, was also among the top awardees after copping the Douglas Orane Shield for outstanding performance and academic excellence. This award has a scholarship value that is tenable at any local university.
