Ultra-talented recording artiste Jervis 'Spugy B' Clarke is finally getting the recognition he deserves as his latest single, 'Concrete Jungle', has been generating excellent rotation on FM radio in recent weeks.

"The feedback has been good so far on Concrete Jungle. It a get crazy airplay in Jamaica. People saw me perform it on the Bob Marley show in Trench Town, and from mi do the song, everybody get on it. Fire Wayne tek it from me, and now other selectors like Boom Sound, Sun City radio, IRIE, Roots and, Bess FM, and now RJR," he said.

He is booked to perform on several reggae shows in the state of Maine, USA, in August, based on the popularity of the song.

Spugy B recently released a video for a single, Mama Bed, featuring Kello. The video is getting rotation on CVM Plus, HYPE TV, and RE TV.

He wears two hats as he is also the chief executive officer of his own label, Unisyz Muzik. Working steadily for the last five years from his home in Wilton Gardens, a politically fractious area known as Rema, he has created his own signature sound. Unisyz Muzik, Spugy B says, is now at the forefront of what he calls 'new century reggae' - roots rock reggae with a modern slant.

Unisyz Muzik label boasts songs by acts such as Bushman, Potential Kid, Admiral Tibet, Captain Barkey, and Carl Dawkins.

Years ago, Spugy B came to mainstream attention when he recorded songs like Pon Dem Babylon System for producer Don Corleon. Then he temporarily put his vocal career on hold to establish Unisyz Muzik. Now, he is back with a slew of new songs.
