![]() Football fans across Kingston and St Andrew are in for a treat as Big Ship recording artiste Chino will set the SportsMax Zone ablaze with his performance during the World Cup matches at the Chinese Benevolent Association, 176 Old Hope Road, today.
The SportsMax Zone presented by Flow, is Jamaica's only official closed circuit venue for the FIFA World Cup, with the public invited to watch all the matches free of cost at the spectacular setting that boasts a motor vehicle showroom courtesy of Stewart's, a Flow photo zone for capturing the memories and a Courts gaming zone for those who wish to play FIFA Playstation games while they watch. The SportsMax Zone boasts the only high definition Sports Bar World Cup feed in Jamaica, with a massive screen overlooking the theatre-like setting, complete with reclined seating for some 600 patrons to lounge while watching the matches. There are also three bars outfitted by Appleton Jamaica Rum and CPJ, with breakfast, lunch and dinner on sale by Jacqui Tyson and Bad Dawg Sausages. The SportsMax Zone opens at 10 a.m., daily and goes on until 9 p.m., for the duration of the World Cup. Today's World Cup matches in the zone include Argentina vs Iran at 11 a.m., followed by Germany vs Ghana at 2 p.m., and Nigeria vs Bosnia at 5 p.m. |
