Two killed in Willowdene, Spanish Town

Sleuths in the St Catherine North Police Division are still searching for gunmen who murdered a man and a woman in Willowdene, Spanish Town, yesterday.

The dead persons have been identified as Verna Dunkley-Morrison, a 42-year-old businesswoman, of Patricia Parkway, Willowdene, and a man known only as 'Blacks', about 20 years old.

Reports are that about 2 p.m. both were on a premises when gunmen drove up on a motorcycle.

Shots were fired at Blacks who was chased by the gunmen. Dunkley-Morrison was shot repeatedly during the process.

Both persons succumbed to injuries received.

The St Catherine North Major Investigation Task Force has started a probe into the matter.
