Vanessa Marriot who is known in entertainment circles as Nessa, is painting quite a name for herself and she told The weekend STAR, there is no intention of slowing down any time soon.

Nessa says she has been getting much love from the music industry with her latest single, Mi Nu Play, which she says has inspired her to go full speed ahead.

The song, which is on DD Record Productions, is getting good rotation locally and abroad. ''It is being played on HOT 95 in New York and the local radio stations here are giving it good rotation as well. This feels good seeing that I'm relatively fresh to the industry," Nessa said.

The Portmore resident says she was introduced to entertainment mainstream by KipRich and she has since done a number of shows and is set to appear on Portland Jamboree on August 16.

Nessa says her aim is to continue recording positive music that all can listen to and enjoy.
