Master Bling releases 'Gallis' video

Montego Bay-based deejay Master Bling released his first video to his runaway hit single, Gallis, last week. The video premiered on the weekly FIWI Choice Top Ten show to rave reviews from the dancehall public.

"The feedback has been incredible so far; everybody inna Montego Bay a talk bout it because a de so mi have mi biggest fan base. Mi also a see a spike inna mi Facebook and Twitter traffic, and a crazy text mi see come pon mi phone from all over Jamaica," he said.

The video, which is a medley that also features Capleton's Don't Diss The King, has also been released to cable outlets such as HYPE, RE and free-to-air stations such as TVJ and CVM. The stations are cranking up the rotation of the video.

"Right now, I am looking to take things to the next level with this video. A lot of people have been asking just who Master Bling is, and now, with this video, they can finally see the man behind the song," he said.

This young deejay is part of a new wave of Montego Bay artistes who are making a mark in dancehall. Master Bling has been getting a lot of positive airplay in recent weeks.

"Everybody on IRIE and HITZ a play it right now. The song is also in rotation on stations in the US, in states like Boston, Connecticut, the 'Wayne Hall' show in Atlanta, Georgia, New York, and Toronto, Canada. David Radigan in England is also playing Gallis on dubs and several radio stations in Zimbabwe are also playing the song," Master Bling said.

Other artistes on the Cannon Ball riddim include RDX, Capleton, Jigsy King, Sharrie, Wasp/Konshens and Iyara.
